Three Mugs, Endless Love: A Custom Gift Story
Every now and then, we get an order that reminds us why we started StashKart in the first place. A few weeks ago, we were contacted by a loving son based in Switzerland who had stumbled upon our Penguin Family mug set. He absolutely loved it, but he had one small request. Instead of the preset names like “Sisguin” or “Dadguin,” he wanted to personalize the characters with names from his own family. For example, he changed “Sisguin” to “Avguin” to reflect his sister Avani.
What really touched us was the story behind the gift. His mother was finally retiring after decades in the workforce, and he wanted to surprise her with something meaningful, something that would not only celebrate her new chapter of a slow paced life with lots of rest, but also encourage more quiet family time together. For his family, sipping chai or tea every morning is a daily ritual, and this mug set was meant to bring everyone to the table with a smile.

On our end, the process was simple and fast. Once we received the custom order request, our design team got to work immediately. The edits were made and sent back for approval within a day. After we received confirmation and full payment (since we don’t keep stock and only print on demand), the mug was printed and dispatched from our print house in just three days. It was delivered in Bangalore in four days.
Now, not all our products ship this quickly—every design and product has its own timeline. But we do our best to meet customer expectations and handle every request with care.
